Trust me. I'm tired of the nonsense in today's politics, too. I'm tired of the division. I'm tired of the shameless political games. I'm tired of the House GOP's reign of chaos in Congress.

But if there's anything we can take away from another embarrassing week in Washington, it's that we have a lot of work to do over the next twelve months.

Next year’s elections aren’t just about re-electing President Joe Biden and defending our DFL trifecta. They’re about protecting our very democracy and affirming our basic values as Americans. 

Let’s be clear. The Republican Party has fallen deeply out of step with a large majority of Americans. But even so, we have an extremely tough fight ahead of us.

In 2016, none of us saw it coming when Donald Trump broke the Blue Wall and nearly flipped Minnesota red. We cannot afford to make the same mistakes again.
