you don’t need me to tell you that wokeness has achieved hegemony in the core institutions of public life. Those of us who are appalled at this hostile takeover need to create counter-institutions . . . and lots of them.

If you read FIRST THINGS, you know that many such institutions already exist, even as more are cropping up around the country. It is a privilege to highlight numerous success stories like the Chesterton Academies, Wyoming Catholic College, and the Classical Learning Test.

True renewal, though, will require institutions like these to work together.
