NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Town of Byron, Wyoming will conduct a public meeting on November 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall at 35 South Pryor Street, Byron, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the Byron Rural Water System Project. This project extends the Town of Byron?s water system to the rural residents around the Town of Byron.
At this meeting, the Town of Byron will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of the improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at DOWL, 1833 S. Sheridan Ave. Sheridan, Wyoming. Contact Jeffrey Rosenlund at 307-655-7707.
Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Byron plans to borrow $3,350,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Fees from the rural users will pay the loan. Loan Terms will be 75% principal forgiveness and 1.5% interest rate and 30 years for the remaining amount. Written comments are also welcome.
