On Wednesday, far-right extremist Jim Jordan once again lost his bid to be the House Speaker, John.
During the second round of votes, 22 Republicans voted against him, which is two MORE votes against him than in the first round.
For too long, Jim Jordan has been gunning for a leadership position within the House Republicans to further his radical agenda. He will do anything to push the Republican Party to new extremes, and we cannot afford to let that happen.
Today, after stating that he felt “really good,” Jim Jordan suffered an embarrassing defeat in his bid to be House Speaker, John.
20 Republicans voted against Jordan, leaving him far short of what he needed to win on the House floor. Our nation needs strong leadership now more than ever. But knowing Jim Jordan’s extremist background, we know he’s not the person for the job:
