Today, the Supreme Court will consider the constitutionality of June Medical v. Russo, a case challenging a law that would require doctors who perform abortions to obtain admitting privileges at a nearby hospital despite the procedure being safer than getting your tonsils removed. (And those doctors don’t need admitting privileges.) This is another GOP-led effort to place restrictions on abortion access -- one that could make way for more attacks on reproductive rights in the months ahead if upheld.
