Friend, The government is turning to Big Tech to censor Americans like you.
Take this example: Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed a friend-of-the-court brief in favor of two parents in southern California who were censored and blocked on social media. You've heard about the work of ADF from Dennis Prager recently.
The parents' crime? Publicly voicing disagreement with two school board members over matters of government.
After both parents sued, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit ruled that the parents' speech had been unlawfully suppressed.
That's chilling. But unfortunately, the rot runs deeper.
In another case, ADF filed a brief urging the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit to rule in favor of the State of Missouri and the State of Louisiana—against the Biden administration.
In this case, the district court ruled that the Biden administration repeatedly pressured social media companies to censor speech government officials did not like. And it's Big Tech's overly vague policies prohibiting "hate speech" and the like that set the stage for this kind of censorship.
In its ruling, the court wrote that "If the allegations by [the states] are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States' history."
ADF is stepping forward to help hold government officials accountable, including the Biden administration, for violating free speech.
