House Republicans are in chaos. In recent weeks, we've once again seen House Republicans play reckless partisan games with the speakership, the House, and our country.

First, they brought us to the brink of a shutdown. Then they evicted the Speaker of the House. Now, they've shown no ability to elect a new Speaker.

Since they gained the majority in January, GOP leadership has flailed and failed to make any meaningful progress. With crises in Israel and Ukraine and yet another deadline for a government shutdown coming up in less than a month, it's especially critical that Congress has the ability to act.
