John,

Did you know that outdoor recreation--all the ways people enjoy
parks, lands, and trails--accounts for nearly 2 percent of the
nation's GDP? Across the country, the outdoor recreation sector is
growing.

That's good news for communities from Oregon to Florida, just a few
of which we're featuring this month.

retention ponds, and green infrastructure.

Tell Congress: This Farm Bill Must Invest Deeply in Conservation

[link removed]

Every five years, Congress must pass a new Farm Bill to reauthorize
USDA programs that ensure a safe and plentiful food supply. Urge them
to address the growing challenges of sustaining our country's
critical natural resources by passing a bill that helps farmers
address the challenge of climate change and provides investments to
conserve wetlands, grasslands, forests, soil, clean water, and
wildlife habitat.
