Dear John,

Instead of doing our jobs to support our country’s working families and pass key foreign aid, we are stuck watching House Republicans implode — again.

This session has made it clear; we can’t trust Republicans to govern. 

This term started with House Republicans unable to elect a Speaker, and it’s only gone downhill since. Not only are they still unable to elect a Speaker – their most recent failed candidate, Jim Jordan, is as extreme as it gets. He fought to overturn the 2020 election, supports the racist “Great Replacement Theory,” and is a founding member of the far-right Freedom Caucus. 

It’s another day of delays and yet another reminder of just how important it is to take back the House.

You deserve representatives who are fighting for you, and clearly, that’s not what House Republicans are doing. Democrats are ready to work, and if our colleagues across the aisle won’t join us, we need to vote them out.
