President Trump is openly stoking racism and hatred to advance an authoritarian agenda, and Republicans nationwide are marching in lockstep. The only way to truly fight back is to hold competitive primaries where we can elect Democrats who will best represent the popular progressive policies that voters want to support in the general election.
