This spring, we celebrated a huge victory in Chicago when progressive Brandon Johnson won in an upset election, and we’re already seeing results: earlier this month, Chicago became the largest city in the country to independently phase out the archaic tipped minimum wage.
We know the playbook of the billionaire extremists who we’re up against: they are investing whatever it takes to invade our local governments and create a breeding ground for far-right ideology. We need to activate our grassroots army to make sure the small but mighty few don’t take control with their bigoted, racist ideas in our local governments and start chipping away at our freedoms.
