The Schools Health and Safety team provide a?Health and Safety service for schools and academies.? As part of this team you will be assisting educational establishments in their compliance with health and safety law, providing training and reviews of guidance, undertaking site visits and inspections across Nottingham and the greater East Midlands area.? Key to the position will be building on current relationships with existing school customers, and to bring a commercially focussed approach to further develop the service and identify new clients across the region.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?
? Qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, particularly in the education field.
? A good understanding of the current development of emergency planning in a school and local authority context.
? Ability to produce written reports of Health and Safety audits, inspectons, and investigations.
? An ablity to communicate and engage effectively with school clients, colleagues, and other external bodies.
? Experience of delivering Health and Safety training courses.
