Celebrate stories this World Book Day

WBD logo

Thursday 5 March is World Book Day?- a day we celebrate children's literature and reading! As part of the festivities we have over 100 school children visiting our libraries, sharing stories and taking part in storytelling sessions. Afterwards they get to visit a book shop to exchange their book token for a book of their choice.

Head to the?World Book Day Website?for lots of exciting and fun resources based on favourite books, brands, characters and authors.

So, whether it's been a few weeks or a few years since you last visited the library with your kids, this is the perfect time to help them celebrate reading and share stories.
