Washington Update |March 2020

Alaskans,

As more cases of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, are confirmed across our country, I wanted to take a moment to share important public health information and to get your feedback on response efforts.

Thankfully, as of now, there are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Alaska. There are simple steps we can take to protect our communities and help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Avoiding contact with people who are sick, avoiding touching your face, and staying home when you’re not feeling well are just a few ways to prevent illness and avoid potential exposure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a good resource for information regarding Coronavirus, and I encourage you to continue checking this page for updates.

Your voice must be included in our nation’s continued efforts against Coronavirus. Please take my survey below to let me know your thoughts on this important public health issue.
