John, fall is in the air as leaves change, animals prepare for hibernation and migrating wildlife head to their fall and winter homes. With your support, we can protect threatened wildlife, conserve precious natural resources and create a safer future for all.

You and your fellow activists are already driving progress to strengthen the ability of people and nature to thrive. You can be a part of the solution by becoming one of 365 Eco Partners — one for every day of the year — to activate your 2024 membership with a monthly gift. Donate here:

From fighting deforestation to saving melting sea ice, here are a few examples of the work to protect vulnerable wildlife and valuable ecosystems that you make possible:

# Advance science-based solutions to support wildlife and a healthy planet by working with farmers and companies like Danone to reduce methane pollution, make food production more sustainable, strengthen soil health, and conserve water and land.
# Ensure carbon credits protect and restore tropical forests and valuable biodiversity by working with partner groups and Indigenous Peoples’ organizations. EDF spearheaded the creation of LEAF (Lowering Emissions by Accelerating Forest finance) to save large-scale tropical forests and end tropical forest loss by 2030.
# Empower fishers around the world to build a more resilient future for our oceans, coral reefs and marine life. EDF is also working with partners to advance science to understand the ocean carbon cycle and develop ways to protect the world’s oceans and coastal ecosystems that store carbon.
# Slash climate pollution and reduce warming to save polar bears and Arctic sea ice. By taking urgent action to fight climate change, EDF is working to protect the Arctic, polar bears and other animals that need sea ice to survive.

The Earth and all its creatures need our help, and we're counting on your support as a monthly donor to continue this critical work year-round. John, will you activate your 2024 membership by October 31 and step up your support for a vital Earth for everyone? Donate now:
