We’re getting down to the wire, folks.
We’re less than 3 weeks from Election Day in the Commonwealth, where voters will decide whether our state will be under complete Republican control or if we’ll be the only state in the nation to flip our legislature blue this year.
I’m writing to you today to ask if you can support two more Democratic candidates running for our General Assembly. Lily Franklin, running for House District 41, has spent the majority of her life living and working in Southwest Virginia. She knows the problems facing Virginians because she’s experienced them firsthand and she knows how to find concrete solutions for those problems thanks to the knowledge she’s gained working in our government for the past seven years. Trish White-Boyd, who is running in battleground State Senate District 4, currently serves on the Roanoke City Council – where she also served as Vice-Mayor – and is a successful business owner that has lived in the district for over 40 years. Lily and Trish both have a proven track record of public service and deep roots in our communities. They know what Virginians need and how to get it done.
If you want elected officials who will fight for Virginia’s kids to get a world-class education, support our working families, spearhead climate change initiatives, and protect reproductive freedom, consider donating $5 to support Lily and Trish.
Thank you,
Mark Warner
