It may be easy to think that who’s serving as Mississippi Attorney General doesn’t matter if you live in another state.

You may not recognize Lynn Fitch's name, but she’s Mississippi’s current AG who propelled Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization to the Supreme Court. Dobbs is the case that ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade. Overturning Roe meant an end to the federal right to abortion.

Toppling the constitutional right to abortion all started with Mississippi’s current Attorney General.

Fitch didn’t stop there, but she’s continuing to attack reproductive freedom in every part of the country by rallying other state Attorneys General into lawsuits to curb access to birth control. She praised the Dobbs decision as “just the beginning.” And now, she wants to access private medical records to criminalize patients and doctors.
