Economic Democracy Weekly

Today’s Economic Democracy Weekly looks at how to build an economy that is broadly inclusive. We begin with a critique from two philanthropic advisers that offer principles to retool giving. Next, an article that examines how a group of CDFIs aims to incorporate racial equity analysis into their lending decisions. Following that, from our series, Building Power, Fighting Displacement: Stories from Asian Pacific America, we offer a story from the nation’s largest Cambodian community in Long Beach, CA. Finally, from our recent webinar on “movement economies,” Davarian Baldwin offers his take on how to build a community-centered economy.
