Earlier today, President Biden landed in Israel becoming the first U.S. president to visit the Jewish state during a war. Biden met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and top Israeli officials, and sat with families of Israelis killed and kidnapped in the Hamas massacre.
This visit was a powerful and unprecedented demonstration of America’s support for the Jewish state.
President Biden said, "I have come to Israel with a simple message: You are not alone. As long as the United States stands – and we will stand forever – you will not be alone."
Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "I have seen your support every day in the depth and breadth of cooperation that we have had since the beginning of this war. A level of cooperation that is truly unprecedented in the history of the great alliance between our two nations."
The president landed just hours after an Islamic Jihad rocket struck a hospital in Gaza, reportedly killing 471 Palestinians.
