John, it's hard to believe it's fall when it's still over 90 degrees here in Dallas. But it's not just the Texas heat that has me sweating.

I'm feeling the heat because I need to raise $450,000 by the end of this month – and right now, I still need $381,672. 

I know we started off this campaign with record fundraising numbers, and all the outlets from CNN to FiveThirtyEight say we can win this thing.

But our success terrified the GOP establishment – and now, they've put a HUGE target on my back for 2024. To make matters worse, our fundraising has slowed dramatically.

John, if we fall short of this end-of-quarter goal, they will see our numbers and think we're done for. We can't afford to let that happen, so can you chip in $5, or whatever you're able, to help me hit my $450,000 goal and keep Ted Cruz on the defensive? →

These past few months, I've been traveling to every corner of Texas so that I can talk to the undecided voters I'll need to win. Unlike Ted Cruz, I'm running a grassroots campaign, and I'm not counting on millionaire donors to buy this seat for me. 

So when I say I still need to raise $381,672 by the end of the month, I mean that there's no corporate PAC coming to save me. I depend on supporters like you to help me recruit volunteers, knock on doors, mail out post cards, and everything else it'll take to win.
