No one should have to give up their dreams because of their period

[link removed]

Dear Friend,

During my recent visit to two Kenyan refugee camps, I spent time with girls there who spoke with me about their dreams for the future, as well as challenges they face. As a young woman myself, it struck me to witness that one of the greatest obstacles for girls to attend school, remain healthy, and keep dreaming, was their periods. All because of a lack of access to menstrual hygiene products.

Your gift today can provide sanitary pads to a girl living in a Kenyan refugee camp for one year.

Over 90,000 girls and young women live in these camps. Not having access to sanitary pads impacts key aspects of their lives, from their physical health to their ability to attend school or play with their friends. The impact this reality has on girls’ daily lives in the camps was something I could not overlook.

The need is urgent. The gift of this simple product could change the life of a girl in the camps. ([link removed])

Like many girls around the world, they dream of becoming engineers, teachers, and even presidents. All women and girls deserve the opportunity to achieve their dreams, but without access to menstrual hygiene products, those dreams can be dashed.

I hope you will join me in helping refugee girls continue their education and achieve their dreams. ([link removed]) Together, we can work to ensure all girls have what they need to achieve.

Thank you for your urgent and generous support.

With gratitude,
