The extent of the chaos brought by the House GOP’s “leadership” in this Congress is shocking:
- A historic ousting of Kevin McCarthy as the Speaker of the House
- Another chaotic vote for Speaker
- Renewed commitment from the GOP to its most extreme MAGA members
- Yet another Republican-manufactured crisis, with the last short-term CR to fund the government set to expire in just a month
As a member of the Judiciary Committee, I have seen the games and theatrics that folks like Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz are capable of. Now they’ve taken their show to the full House floor, and the American people are paying the price.
It’s time to take back the House for Democrats to end the GOP reign of mismanagement and unwillingness to work for Americans and their families.
