UK babies are dying at obscenely high rates, but WORSE is yet to come unless we act NOW.

AUTUMN APPEAL

Dear SPUC supporter

SPUC’s autumn appeal closes in 48 hours.

Another £26,517.10 is still URGENTLY needed to reach our £100k appeal goal.

We are fighting for babies on MULTIPLE FRONTS:

LEGAL BATTLES:

* Abortion coercion is a huge problem affecting as many as 111,000 UK women annually in England and Wales alone.

SPUC is funding a groundbreaking legal action for one such woman, “Lydia”, who is currently suing her abortion provider.

Estimated Cost: £150,000

* Northern Ireland is today subject to the United Nation's anti-life, anti-family CEDAW Recommendations which are set to see another 6,500 unborn children ‘targeted’ for abortion annually in the UK.

SPUC is going to court in an eleventh-hour bid to save babies’ lives across the Province.

Estimated Costs: £162,000

PILLS-by-POST SCHEME:

* DIY abortions are driving record-high numbers of abortions, around 272,000 last year
* Only 1-in-5 UK abortions today are carried out in a clinical setting where help is on hand should something go wrong
* Ambulance call-outs due to home abortions soared by 64% in 2020, while 2.3% of women admitted to hospital for them were treated for haemorrhages (heavy bleeding).

MORE ABORTION ON THE WAY (Decriminalisation):

BPAS – the country’s biggest killer of unborn babies – has launched a high-profile campaign aimed at TOTALLY decriminalising abortion in the UK.

Without even basic restrictions on abortion, even MORE will take place.

Unless we get out our message this AUTUMN to politicians and doctors (and other healthcare professionals) MORE babies will die and MORE women will be harmed by abortion.

Estimated Campaign costs: £74,000

All this comes at a time when the need to spread the pro-life message in our schools, colleges and universities has never been greater.
The Society’s Schools' programme is combating our opponent’s widespread abortion propaganda in classrooms, lecture halls and campuses up and down the country.

SPUC provides primary and secondary schools throughout the UK with FREE pro-life

* Course materials
* Classroom presentations with trained speakers.

It’s ONLY possible to offer these vital educational services “without charge” because of the generous donations we receive from rank-and-file supporters, like YOU.

But educational outreach comes at a price.

(We don’t get a single penny in Government funding or Lottery money.)

As well as funding for SPUC’s political campaign, money must be found to REACH THE YOUNG with the pro-life message, otherwise cuts to educational services may be necessary this autumn.

I hope you can see how CRITICAL the situation is.

And how babies’ LIVES and the WELFARE of so many women depend on finding the funds to run an effective political campaign and community outreach programmes.

That’s why I must urge you to give £10 or £25 or £35 or £50 or £75 or £100 or £150 or £1,250 or £500 or £1,000 or £2,500 or £5,000 or £10,000 or more so we can ACT before it’s too late.

Thank You.

Yours in defence of life,
