John, In this perilous moment, antisemitism and Islamophobia are escalating throughout the world. No one should be targeted for violence because of what they look like or how they worship. I am heartbroken over the murder of Wadea Al-Fayoume, a six-year-old Palestinian-American boy in Illinois who was stabbed to death by his landlord in an apparent hate crime.
