Congress is expected to soon consider a significant emergency aid package for Israel. Reports suggest that this funding may be attached to a broader bill, along with aid for Ukraine, Taiwan and border security funding. AIPAC will strongly support the emergency aid package for Israel – look for action alerts on this most critical issue.
113 House members signed a bipartisan letter led by Reps. Josh Gottheimer, Don Bacon, Jared Moskowitz, and Claudia Tenney reaffirming congressional support to replenish Israeli military supplies and release stockpiles of American munitions to Israel. The letter also calls for the administration to immediately implement snapback sanctions on Iran.
