Dear John,
Our hearts are heavy with the tragic events unfolding in Israel. We at ADL are working around the clock in support of the State of Israel and to ensure the safety of Jews around the world. On October 30, when we gather at the Kennedy Center for the ADL In Concert Against Hate, we will reaffirm our resolve to stand up and speak out against hate.

Growing up in New Jersey as the grandson of a Holocaust survivor, Aron Goodman was stunned to learn how few of his peers in high school knew about the Holocaust. So he set out to fill this void by filming and posting to TikTok videos of his grandmother, Tova Friedman, talking about her experiences. Their more than 150 videos have been viewed at least 80 million times across the globe. By meeting young adults where they are, they are teaching viewers about the Holocaust, antisemitism and the need for cultural understanding. For Friedman, who also co-wrote a memoir, “The Daughter of Auschwitz: My Story of Resilience, Survival and Hope,” this fits her mission to make sure Holocaust
victims aren’t forgotten. And for her grandson, now a college student, this project is just one way he’s shown his commitment to Holocaust education. Together, they are a force for good on this journey toward justice – enlightening millions, one social media post at a time.

Tovah Feldshuh, actress, playwright, singer and longtime Broadway star. She’s earned four Tony Award nominations for her roles in “Yentl,” “Saravá,” “Lend Me a Tenor” and “Golda’s Balcony,” which became the longest-running one-woman show in Broadway history and was also turned into a highly acclaimed film. In addition to playing Prime Minister Golda Meir, Feldshuh has portrayed Dr. Ruth Westheimer and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to sold-out houses. On television, Ms. Feldshuh earned 2 Emmy nominations for her work in NBC's miniseries "Holocaust" and "Law & Order." Her film credits include “Kissing

Since that move, he’s performed on a multitude of stages, including Paper Mill Playhouse, Radio City Music Hall and Town Hall Theater. On Broadway, he appeared in the 2016 revival of “Falsettos” and most recently in Tom Stoppard’s Tony-winning “Leopoldstadt.” He’s also made appearances on PBS, NBC, FX and SiriusXM.
The in-person night of music, community and celebration will feature the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Emil De Cou, along with other can’t-miss performances from acclaimed stars to be announced in the coming days.
