John,

House Republicans are currently trying to get enough votes to elect Jim Jordan as Speaker of the House.

Jim Jordan is a dangerous, extremist, far-right, election-denier. He is responsible for so much of the chaos in the House recently and is completely unfit to lead.

The last bill he sponsored before running for Speaker was the Ending Chemical Abortions Act, which bans all abortion medication nationwide and holds a 25-year sentence for “violations.”

As a reminder — abortion medication accounts for the majority of procedures in the United States, and it’s supported by almost 70% of Americans.

This is how extreme our possible future Speaker is. At this point, our best hope is to take back the House next year so Democrats can elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker and put our country back on track.

First, we’ll need to protect all of our vulnerable incumbents, who are already being attacked by Republicans and the National Republican Congressional Committee. Will you pitch in any amount today to combat their attacks and prevent Jim Jordan from enacting his extremist agenda? [[link removed]]
