As a member of Congress, it is my honor to nominate highly qualified young people from Georgia's Third Congressional District for an appointment to four U.S. service academies: U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY; the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD; the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO; and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY. Applications are open until November 3, 2023.

The Small Business Association (SBA) is reminding eligible Private Nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Georgia the filing deadline is November 13, 2023 for federal working capital loans due to damages caused by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes that occurred on January 12, 2023. Low-interest disaster loans are available to PNP Organizations in Henry, Meriwether, Spalding, and Troup counties.
