WHAT:? Public Accuracy Tests of the electronic equipment to be used in the Oakland County Absent Voter Counting Board (AVCB) as well as Early Voting (EV) for the November 7, 2023 election

WHY:? The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the functionality, accuracy and security of the voting equipment to be used for the AVCB and early voting.
?While we at the County have been running Public Accuracy Tests since 2020 when the law changed to allow absentee ballot tabulation at the county, this is the first time in Michigan that Early Voting will be implemented,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?I consider this public accuracy test to be historic.?
City offices and ballot proposals will be on the November 7 ballot for the following communities: Auburn Hills, Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Clarkston, Clawson, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Keego Harbor, Lake Angelus, Lathrup Village, Madison Heights, Northville, Novi, Oak Lark, Orchard Lake, Pleasant Ridge, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, South Lyon, Southfield, Troy, Walled Lake, Wixom, the Village of Lake Orion, Bloomfield Hills Schools, the Brandon School District, the Fenton Area Public Schools, the Goodrich Area Schools, and the School District of the City of Oak Park.
