It's been a long time coming, but today the House GOP is finally facing the public and voting on the floor to determine whether they will elect insurrectionist and sexual abuse enabler Jim Jordan as Speaker of the House.

This has been the end game in mind for the Freedom Caucus tribe since McCarthy auditioned for the job back in January. They forced McCarthy to send a baseless presidential impeachment inquiry to Jordan's Judiciary Committee, and then they forced Kev out of the job altogether when it suited them.

Now Boebert, Gaetz, and Marjorie Taylor Greene are in charge, and things have been predictably dysfunctional.

Boebert is out of step with Colorado and with the voters of her district—in particular, with Unaffiliated voters who don't align with the Republican Party and look for independence in their representatives. They know that Boebert is a loyal Trump fanatic and is not on their side.

We’re going to show those independent voters just how extreme Boebert really is. When Boebert falls, the House will likely flip and Republicans will be punished for courting chaos and controversy instead of putting country first.
