We are at a critical juncture, and we need your help.

We believe in the value of every human life and condemn the targeting of all civilians. Such violence is a violation of international law. The solution to the crisis in Gaza is a political one, not a military one. The U.S. must use its influence and position to encourage de-escalation of violence in the region.

Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO-1), alongside Congress Members Rashida Tlaib (D-MI-12), André Carson (D-IN-7), Summer Lee (D-PA-12), and Delia Ramirez (D-IL-3), has introduced a House Resolution calling for immediate de-escalation and a ceasefire. This Resolution carries immense potential to put an end to this bloodshed and save countless lives.

This Resolution:

  1. Urges the Biden Administration to immediately call for and facilitate de-escalation and a ceasefire to urgently end the current violence.
  2. Calls upon the Biden administration to promptly send and facilitate the entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza.

Between October 7 and October 16, more than 2,700 Palestinians and over 1,400 Israelis, including Americans, have lost their lives, including hundreds of children. Americans have been killed as well. Thousands more have been wounded, and hundreds of thousands are at imminent risk. We cannot afford to wait any longer to act.

We need you to take action now. Reach out to your elected officials and urge them to co-sponsor this critical Resolution.

In solidarity,
