We know that the margins of victory for state legislative races like ours are going to be incredibly small; a few hundred votes can mean the difference between winning and losing.
Just take a look at what happened in Virginia in 2021: Democrats lost the House of Delegates by just 733 votes across three races.
And here’s the thing: while Election Day is 3 weeks away, thousands of voters are casting their ballots by mail or early in person. That means the outcome of these races — and the future of abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and more — is being decided right now, not just three weeks from now on November 7.
