We just got some breaking news, John:
A multimillionaire Republican celebrity just jumped into our top-two “jungle primary” in the U.S. Senate race.

Steve Garvey was a first baseman for the Dodgers and Padres, and apparently he’s ready to take up the fight for everyone born on third base thinking they hit a triple. Go figure.
If that’s all you need to hear, I’m personally asking you to split a donation of any amount between Seth Moulton and my Senate campaign to help us respond. Our new Republican opponent is sure to have big money behind him, and we need to be ready for the inevitable wave of attacks — because that’s not the only recent twist in this Senate race. Garvey appears to be taking a cue from another celebrity Republican with no political experience, Donald Trump. And given Trump’s determination to make sure I don’t become California’s Senator next year, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump and MAGA world get solidly behind Garvey. I will need your help to ensure Garvey and Trump feel the sting of losing on March 5, 2024.
And there’s one more wrinkle in this race: I’m now running in two concurrent elections — a special election for the remainder of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s term, and a general election for a full Senate term. Two elections happening on the same ballot, on the same day . Twice.
With millions of Californians preparing to see my name on their ballot for the very first time, we’re going to have to invest a tremendous amount of resources to educate voters and meet them across the state.
And it’s even more urgent with today’s news. Can you rush in a split donation of any amount between Seth Moulton and my Senate campaign to respond to the entry of our new opponent and help ensure we win this race? [[link removed]]
There’s nothing Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party would like more than to see a celebrity Republican put another Senate seat in play. So let’s stop him, Trump and Steve Garvey in their tracks — today.
Thanks for your support,
Adam
