As fun as it might be to watch the GOP collapse under the weight of its own bigotry and idiocy (and to be fair, it is), we can’t afford to ignore the danger of what comes next.

The man a majority of the Republican House caucus has chosen to replace McCarthy as Speaker—assuming he can get a majority of votes in the House—is a far-right extremist with a dangerous agenda and the track record to prove it.

Jim Jordan is a close buddy of Donald and one of the absolute worst of the worst.

His election lies helped fuel the insurrection and he’s used his position on the House Judiciary Committee to go after Donald’s political opponents.

He's a dangerous extremist and unfit to serve as Speaker.
