I recently traveled to Israel as part of the first U.S. delegation since the Hamas attacks began. Alongside a bipartisan group of my colleagues, I met with Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to show the strength of the U.S.-Israel relationship and reiterate our unified, unwavering support for Israel and the Jewish people.

With democracy under threat worldwide, the rock-solid bond between the United States and Israel has never been more important. Within hours of the attack, the Biden Administration took decisive action to support our ally and deter Iran from taking advantage of this crisis. As the conflict develops, I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure Israel has the military and humanitarian assistance it needs.
