John — last week, extremist GOP lawmakers in Raleigh again made their position clear.

They care about their power. Not our democracy.

First came their anti-democratic legislation designed to block some voters from having their ballots count. Now we know they’re renewing their gerrymandering efforts, too.

It all adds up to a scheme to try to steal future elections from the people of our state.

All our efforts are aimed at overcoming this Republican plot and electing Democratic leaders we can trust, but we can’t do it without resources to fight back. Just $10 would go a long way.

Republican legislators have changed the rules to secure victory in elections they fear they otherwise couldn’t win. This is disgraceful — but it isn’t the end of our fight.

We have overcome GOP extremism before and we can do so again, together. By breaking the supermajorities next year, we will prevent further erosion of our democracy.
