Hi, John —

I’ve stopped by polling places today, talking to North Carolinians before they cast their ballots. But I wanted to take the time to write a quick note.

Last night, President Trump visited our state for the fourth time and called my opponent “incredible” and a “tremendous supporter.” As your U.S. Senator, I will work with any president to benefit North Carolina, but when something is wrong for our state, you better believe I will stand up to anyone.

Unfortunately, Tillis is simply too weak to be independent and stand up for North Carolina. He sides with Trump even when it hurts the people of our state, and every chance he gets, Tillis chooses the interests of his Washington allies over the interests of folks he was elected to serve.

I’ve had enough of it, John I’m running for U.S. Senate to end this sort of corruption. Together, we’re building a movement to put power back in the hands of the people — and that terrifies Washington Republicans like Tillis.

I know we can win this race. But with so much on the line, we cannot afford to slip up and lose our momentum. So with that in mind, I have to ask:
