Thank you, team: Frequently, my campaign asks a lot of you at the end of the month, but true to form, you and a raft of other supporters always come through. The sense is that Iowa needs a change of leadership, and every donation gets us closer to beating Joni Ernst.

Our campaign isn’t cozying up to dark money groups or corporate PACs so support from people like you -- in all 99 counties of Iowa and from every U.S. state -- is what it will take to win.

We have an opportunity in November to take back this seat from a Republican who is riven by special interest. Yes, by hitting our end-of-month goal -- thanks to you -- Sen Joni Ernst is one step closer to a November defeat.

This was our first monthly fundraising drive since I officially filed to run -- handing in almost five times as many signatures as is needed to get on the ballot -- so, it was crucial that we hit this mark.
