Purpose: Denton County and TxDOT have partnered to study a potential new location east-west freeway portion of the Regional Outer Loop in Denton County, extending approximately 23 miles from I-35 on the west to the Dallas North Tollway on the east.

Purpose: The Texas Department of Transportation proposed amendments to 43 Tex. Admin. Code ?16.105, and 16.154, related to the Unified Transportation Program (UTP). The text of the amendments was published in the Oct. 13, 2023 issue of the Texas Register (48 TexReg 5969). The changes to ?16.105 clarify the major changes to the UTP that require that the Texas Transportation Commission adoption are in addition to changes to funding allocations in Category 12 of the UTP, which also require Commission adoption. Changes to ?16.154 provide for efficiencies in the use of federal funds for transportation projects and in the management of UTP allocations to prevent the loss of those funds. Changes to ?16.154 also provide for an annual review of certain amounts of transportation funds carried over from one fiscal year to the next.

Purpose: TxDOT is proposing improvements to the I-635/I-35E interchange along I-635 from Luna Road to State Loop (SL) 354/Denton Drive and along I-35E & I-35E Express from Royal Lane to Valley View Lane in Dallas County, Texas.
