Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, and Summer Lee just introduced a resolution demanding the Biden Administration call for an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation between Hamas and Israel. Justice Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Jamaal Bowman also signed onto this resolution.

Any member of Congress who remains silent or beats the drums of war after the Israeli government has called for the forced displacement of 1.1 million Palestinians in less than 24 hours is condoning the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza.

Our incumbents in Congress are leading the fight in calling for de-escalation. We know that they will face heavy spending in the 2024 elections for taking this politically courageous stance.
