Can you believe it is already October 16?

By this time this month, I thought we’d be hard at work passing our budget, and I definitely thought we would have a Speaker of the House. But MAGA Republicans’ nonstop chaos has stopped the House in our tracks and prevented us from moving anything forward.

Currently, the plan is to head into vote on a Speaker tomorrow at 12 p.m., but who knows what will happen. Democrats stand steadfast by our leader, Hakeem Jeffries, but Republicans these days aren’t steadfast about anything.

I’m writing today because I need your support to help our team meet our October fundraising goal. Our focus on fundraising will support my and my fellow Democrats’ campaigns to take back the House in 2024.

Republicans have made it clear – their party has no business in the House majority.

We must work today and every day to ensure Democrats have the resources needed to take back the House.

With your support, we will get our Democratic majority back.
