There was an unfortunate choice of words used in the newsletter sent out earlier today which led to some misunderstanding about what was intended to be conveyed concerning the Provisional Nominations proposed.? The wording made it appear that a decision had already been made to make provisional nominations.? That is not the case.



At this point, no decision has been made regarding provisional nominations other than to present the idea to the Executive Committee at its meeting on Thursday evening.? It is nothing more than a proposal which will be submitted to the Executive Committee for its consideration and, if approved, to the National Committee for its consideration.?



There will be no provisional nominations unless approved by the National Committee which has the final say on the matter.
