The 9th U.S Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Kari Lake and Mark Finchem's lawsuit seeking to ban electronic voting machines in Arizona. This affirms a lower court ruling that dismissed the case for lack of standing and called their claims "conjectural allegations."

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) won the state’s election for governor. Landry is currently defending the state's congressional and legislative maps in court. Black voters and civil rights groups argue that the maps violate Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act by diluting Black voting power.
