A new report from UNICEF reveals that between 2016 and 2021, 43 million children were displaced from their homes due to extreme weather events like droughts, floods, and storms.
And that’s not all — experts project that due to climate change, 113 million more will be displaced in the next three decades.
Around the world, rising seas are eating away at our coastlines, storms are battering our cities, and floods and droughts are decimating livelihoods and forcing children and families from their homes.
And because climate refugees have yet to be recognized under international law, the millions of children being displaced face an uphill battle to receiving the assistance they need.

Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future.
