Hi Name,
When we launched our campaign on the promise to fight for working people, area politicos told us we were naive to refuse corporate money. They said that there was no way we'd be able to fund a race against our opponent and his corporate donors, let alone outraise him.
But that's exactly what we did. FEC filings show that we caught our opponent by surprise and outraised him by over $10k in the third quarter! His average donation was over $450, while ours was about $54.

This quarter, my opponent took over $80k from corporate PACs including real estate investment firms, American Express, and big energy company Exelon. These are the companies making housing even more unaffordable, profiting billions off of working families, and settling millions of dollars for polluting our environment. That doesn't even include his other donors like railway company BNSF or GM, whose workers are on strike for fair contracts.

I'm not taking corporate money, because I want to represent people like you, not billion dollar companies. And we proved we could outraise candidates who are happy to cash corporate campaign checks. But now our opponent sees our strength, and he's going to spend the next 10 weeks calling every big donor he can to bury our grassroots campaign with corporate cash.
We already made history as the first campaign to outraise our opponent in his 8 term political career. Can you help us do it again?
