Hi, it’s Jeff Sites, the Democratic Army Veteran running for Congress against Jim Jordan.
My opponent was just chosen as a GOP nominee to become Speaker of the House of Representatives -- having received 124 votes from fellow Republicans in a secret ballot.
Jim Jordan also has the backing of Donald Trump and others inside the MAGA caucus.
It’s unclear if he’ll eventually become Speaker – but it’s looking very possible, and that should scare the hell out of us.
I’m running for Congress to defeat Jim Jordan – not just to make sure he isn’t Speaker – but to make sure he’s retired from American politics.
