About the job
As an Access Control Specialist within the Division of Capitol Security & Visitor Services, you will?deliver innovative solutions that contribute to the DES mission by acting as a primary point of contact for statewide customers that are seeking the services of the Capitol Security Office. You will assist and educate customers requesting security services, ensuring processes and services are provided in a fashion that maintain the physical security of campus facilities. You will develop and implement security program policies, procedures, and standards for all Capitol Security activities, to include the development of formalized relationships with agency access coordinators. You will also be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of Capitol Security?s access control system to support the safety and security of agency customers.
