Hello Dallas County Young Republicans!

Please join us on Tuesday, October 24^th at 6:30 PM at Ozona Grill & Bar as we host a prolific businessman, civic leader, activist, philanthropist, and political donor – Monty Bennett! Mr. Bennett is the Founder, Chairman, & Chief Executive Officer of Ashford, Inc. and is also the Founder & Chairman of both Ashford Hospitality Trust and Braemar Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Bennett’s philanthropic, charitable, and civic activities are too numerous to list here – his impact in Dallas is significant. Mr. Bennett has provided an example of successful leadership in the business realm and in the community. One of Mr. Bennett’s focus areas is engaging young voters to participate in municipal elections. He will discuss MCBA (Metroplex Civic & Business Association) and ways for DYR members to get involved and effect positive change in City of Dallas governance. As a major donor to Republican candidates in Texas, Mr. Bennett has unique insights into the reality of the legislative process in the Texas
Legislature. He’ll be sharing his unique insights with us into how city and state governments actually function, as well as the ways in which we can produce change as young conservatives. Mr. Bennett has also spearheaded the growth of the Dallas Express, an invaluable news publication focused on providing quality reporting on the events shaping Dallas and Texas. I’m so excited that DYR will be able to host a leader and a force for positive change like Mr. Bennett. You do not want to miss this incredible event! This event is free and open to everyone – please invite your friends!

Mr. Bennett will begin his remarks promptly at 7:00 PM. The event will take place at Ozona Grill & Bar, located at 4615 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75206. Self-parking will be available. Ride-share service usage is recommended. Attire for the event is business casual. Light bites and drinks will be available. This event is free and open to everyone – please invite your friends!

This event will provide a rare opportunity to interact with a businessman and civic leader of Mr. Bennett’s stature - I hope to see us turnout at least 200 people!
