Friend,
Kirsten’s opponent, Juan Ciscomani, doesn’t want voters to know his real stance on abortion.
When asked in interviews, he tries to dodge the question (literally running away from it in 2022) or says he believes it’s a state issue.
But when it comes time to vote in the House, his anti-choice position becomes very clear. He helped put together a funding bill that restricted safe and affordable abortion medication, tried to prevent the Department of Defense from covering abortions for its service members, and has repeatedly voted against reproductive freedoms.
There’s a reason Ciscomani is trying to hide his record on abortion: He knows that voters in AZ-06 are pro-choice.
Kirsten Engel, on the other hand, has never had to hide her position on abortion. That’s because she’s unapologetically pro-choice and will fight nonstop in Congress to defend reproductive rights nationwide.
Kirsten can flip this seat blue next November if our campaign has the resources we need to get her message out. With just over a year until Election Day, building a strong campaign has never been more critical. Can we count on you to chip in now?
