With the FBI surveilling Black freedom fighters under the racist Black Identity Extremist designation, it’s abundantly clear that COINTELPRO (the FBI’s Counter Intelligence Program) is still alive and well today. However, we wouldn’t be Team #MediaJustice if we weren’t prepared to fight back!

Sponsored by Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) and featuring remarks by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), you’ll also hear from our briefing panelists including our own Myaisha Hayes (Campaigns Director at MediaJustice), Gerardo Romo (ACLU Racial Justice Program), Keedran Franklin (Coalition of Concerned Citizens), Alice Speri (The Intercept) and Sandra Fulton (Free Press Action).
